The Medela reusable breastpump sets are for hospitals with traditional cleaning and sterilising practices. They include everything a mother needs to express breastmilk with a professional breastpump. The pump sets are available in practical multiboxes.
Symphony Hospital Multibox
The reusable pump set includes everything mothers need to single or double pump with the Symphony Breastpump. The multibox is exclusively available for hospitals. It includes 20 pump sets, each with:
- a 150 ml breastmilk bottle which is perfect for collecting, storing, portioning and feeding breastmilk
- a PersonalFit Breastshield in size M (24mm), L (27mm), or XL (30mm)
The PersonalFit Breastshields in sizes S (21mm), M (24mm), L (27mm), XL (30mm) or XXL (36mm) are also available in multiboxes of 25.
Using the breastpump
The comfortable reusable breastpump set can be used with the Symphony 2-Phase Expression Breastpump. The 2-Phase Expression Technology perfectly mimics the natural suction rhythm of babies. Initially, a light and fast pumping rhythm stimulates let-down which is then followed by a slower, deeper rhythm which optimises the milk flow. In this way you get more milk in less time.
All parts that come into contact with breastmilk are, of course, BPA-free.

Basic Kit
The Basic Kit can be used with the Symphony and the Lactina Breastpump. It consists of a breastshield, a valve head with membrane and a 150 ml breastmilk bottle with lid.
Individual extra parts
In order to meet the individual needs of every hospital, additional modular parts are available for use with the Symphony and Lactina Breastpump.
The following parts are available for use with the Symphony Breastpump:
- Symphony Membrane Cap and Protective Membrane
- Silicon Tubing for Symphony and Lactina
The following parts are available for use with the Lactina Breastpump:
- Lactina Piston/Cylinder including Cylinder Holder
