Vacuum
Medela's core business is medical vacuum technology. Since more than 50 years Medela has created, perfected and re-developed vacuum systems for use in the medical field. Since our products are used under difficult conditions and in delicate situations, it is natural for us to develop them of the highest quality and with the greatest reliability. Whether small portable, large and strong suction or even central vacuum products are needed, if the product is labelled with "Medela", the customer can trust in the technical perfection and absolute safety in handling that is typical for Medela Healthcare.

Systems
In order to supply quality, reliability and safety it is necessary to offer not just the suction source, but also a wide range of accessories. These must be designed for perfect combination with the suction source and offer the same degree of quality that Medela customers are used to. Our Fluid Management System, consisting of either a Reusable or a Disposable Collection System, contains all the necessary components for a safe, hygienic and easy to use collection of blood and other body fluids. Another great system Medela offers is the Vacuum Extraction System. It features the largest product range in rigid or soft suction cups, disposable or reusable cups, Apgar Timers, and many accessories perfectly constructed for use with electric suction pumps.
