Medela believes it is crucial that it conducts its own research. For the further development of its breastfeeding products the company collaborates with a team from the University of Western Australia. Thanks to this collaboration, Medela was the first company to launch an extremely efficient breastpump with a natural pumping rhythm.
Medela conducts regular international product tests to obtain feedback from customers about its products, and information regarding specific aspects such as comfort and handling – because it is only when a product is used that it becomes clear whether nature has been correctly understood.
