Herz-/Thoraxdrainage

Eine Thoraxdrainage trägt zur Aufrechterhaltung der Atmungsfunktion und der hämodynamischen Stabilität bei, indem sie Blut, Flüssigkeit oder Luft aus der Umgebung der Lunge oder des Herzens entfernt. Robotik, künstliche Intelligenz, Telemedizin, Gesundheits-Apps und vieles mehr. Die digitale Revolution macht auch vor dem medizinischen Bereich nicht halt. Ganz im Gegenteil: Sie hält schnell Einzug in unseren Arbeitsalltag und beeinflusst die Art und Weise, wie wir im OP, auf der Intensivstation und auf der Krankenstation arbeiten.

Und die Thoraxdrainage-Systeme haben bereits begonnen, digital zu werden. Erste digitale Thoraxdrainage-Systeme wurden schon im Jahr 2007 eingeführt. Herkömmliche Systeme, die auf einem externen Absaugverfahren beruhen, sind längst überholt. 

Dank ihrer evidenzbasierten Vorteile werden digitale Thoraxdrainage-Systeme auch in nationalen und internationalen Leitlinien empfohlen. Klinische Entscheidungen beruhen zunehmend auf Therapiedaten und wirtschaftlichen Faktoren in den Gesundheitssystemen. Deshalb sind zuverlässige Informationen umso wichtiger.
