Medela marketing expert Katie Busse earned a spot on MM&M’s 40 under 40 list

Recently, MM&M recognised rising industry star Katie Busse, Senior Manager, social and digital communications marketing at Medela USA on the publication’s inaugural #MMM40Under40 list.
MM&M showcased Katie’s leadership of Medela’s multi award-winning #22Victories campaign, which called on influencers to share their post-partum stories to provide a more realistic depiction of breastfeeding challenges that new mums face. The stigma-busting social media campaign generated over 1.3 million engagements and earned an ADDY, a Shorty, and a Webby for Good, among other honours.
Since bringing her creative and compassionate B2C marketing expertise to Medela six years ago, Katie’s driving mission has been “to broaden the conversation around breastfeeding and increase support for breastfeeding mothers’”. One way Katie puts that mission into practice is through her leadership of Medela USA’s stage-based program, The Mom’s room, which empowers members to reach their goals on their breastfeeding journey with the help of 24/7 lactation counselling support, breastfeeding education, useful tools, exclusive opportunities, and back-to-work guidance.
