The 16 lights that wrap around the tubing port represent the pumping level and the milk drops represent the pumping phase.

How do I know what level I am at?

The pump has 16 levels and 16 light indicators that reflect your current vacuum level. When the pump is turned on, the lights will appear and light up as you increase or decrease the vacuum.

What accessories / spare parts are available for the Pump In Style Pro?

Medela offers various breast shield sizes compatible with your pump kit: PersonalFit™ Flex breast shields in sizes 21, 24 and 27 mm as well as  PersonalFit™ Plus breast shields in size 18 mm. You can also purchase separately PersonalFit Flex™ breast shield connectors and membranes, Pump In Style tubing, power adaptor and other accessories.

If you would like to pump hands-free, you can purchase Medela Hands-free collection cups separately.

How do I know when I am in Stimulation vs Expression?

The pump has a light directly under the tubing port that indicates the pumping mode. The orange light indicates Stimulation phase and White light indicates Expression phase.  The pump always starts in Stimulation and then automatically transitions to Expression after 60 seconds.

What do the different drop colors mean?

The different lighting colors indicate the pumping phase.  Pump in Style Pro has 2 phases.
Orange = Stimulation phase
White = Expression phase

How does this compare to Symphony?

Pump In Style Pro is a compact single user pump for you to use at home.The new Pump In Style Pro features our clinically proven pumping pattern from Symphony Maintain Program and has the same 16 vacuum levels and two modes (Stimulation and Expression).

Symphony is our hospital multi-user pump with Initiation technology, to activate your milk production right after giving birth. We also recommend to use it when you or your baby have special medical needs.
