Can the Medela Colostrum Protector be used with an electric personal use pump?
No, using the device with an electric personal use pump could negatively impact performance. The Colostrum Protector is designed for use with the Harmony manual breast pump. It is not intended for use with Medela personal use pumps; however, it can be used with the Symphony pump in the hospital.
Do I need to clean the colostrum protector before use?
The Colostrum Protector is sterile and does not need to be cleaned prior to first use.
